Hid Conversion Kits

Has anybody successfully fitted a HID kit to their avensis? (2005 shape)

i have fitted a few sets to previous cars, but none have had the projector style headlights like my current avensis.

is there anything you need to watch out for or is it simply plug and play like for say a H4 kit?

Sorry to reverse question. I would say I do nearly 90% of my driving on unlit country roads & as most people are aware Avensis Dipped Beams are rubbish. Have new shape 03 Avensis D4D, could you recommend best HID kit, nothing to bright or incorrect colour (Blue) just a good quality kit to light up road without blinding on coming traffic when out on the main roads.

never quite understood this issue.

I have an 04 t-spirit with the modified lenses (like most).

Personally I think the light omitted is good especially if the lenses are kept clean.
