07 Tacoma Armrest Issue

I have my 7th Toyota and my 3rd Tacoma. It is a 2007 SR5 4X4 with 13,000 miles on it. I am an EXTREMELY loyal Toyota fan but... I just got back from the dealer because my driver side armrest cracked under the panel fabric and the dealer is saying it is "Wear and Tear" and is not covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.

Needless to say I am shocked, I am only 160 pounds and I cannot believe that normal would even do this let alone not be covered under warranty. This is actually the first time I have ever even attemted to get a warranty fix because I feel Toyota's are very good quality and usually never have issues. Up until this issue came up it would have been hard for me to imagine not buying Toyota for my next vehicle but this has got me very upset.

Has anyone else had any similar issues?
