Speed Signal Bypass On Tms 300 / 310

Hi,

Yesterday I put an on/off switch in the purple/white coloured speed signal wire of the TMS 300 satnav unit. This way I can enter new destinations etc. while driving, by temporarily making the satnav unit believe I'm standing still. :P

In my 2004 Avensis Verso (LHD Model) the satnav computer is under the driver's seat. It has a wiring loom with two connectors, the larger connector has the purple/white wire. For me it was the easiest to put a little switch on the bottom cover of the driver's seat, in easy reach for me.

The satnav will stop giving directions with the switch off, so when you're done put the switch back to ON ;)

Sorry I haven't made any pics, I may put a few up later.

Cheers,
