Cenral Lock - Estima Emina

When I remote lock my Estima Emina the boot doesn't always lock. I have to then use the key to lock the boot. Similarly when I open the Estima Emina by pressing the button on the remote key the doors open but not the boot. I have to then use the key to unlock the boot. Any ideas please?

HI,sounds like broken wire on tailgate yto body in convoluterd wiring tube by tailgate hinges.check for power at lock,under rear door panel,whn door lock operated by remote.start at lock and work from there,time consuming!! hope that helps..
