Local dealer has used a trade fuel treatment called Forte (aka Wynns for the average punter?)

You seem to be able to get Forte stuff on eBay.

I have also tried Redex.

Are they all the same ?

NO they are not!

Redex has been around for Years/decades - in the days of "help decoke your Ford Anglia / Morris Oxford etc.

Forte is more recent and was actually mentioned on a particular Toyota fuel course (for Technicians/mechanics) in the 1990's

And some 'cheepo' cleaners are just basically white spirit in a pretty bottle!

Personally (and from my OWN experiance) I have always been a little dubious of such additives and always of the belief that there is a reason 'proper' why something is not running quite right so to speak.
