Ipod Interface Problems

:( i have a 03 Corolla and have recently tried connecting a ipod interface into the cd changer port on the radio ( W58807) and now i lose sound output after a length of time and wondered if anyone has any ideas on correcting the problem, tried new interface, different radio and still get same symptoms. everything operates as normal i.e. track changing, clock, radio display just no sound

fitting was easy just plugged into the cd changer port and you can move thru your playlist with the radio controls i just have this problem with the sound loss, Mr T. cannt help coz they didnt fit it all they said was it should work
