88 Man Tranny

I just purchased an 88 Targa. It runs good 112k miles. The tranny goes into reverse sometimes. Any ideas on what to check. I was a mustang owner for a while but always loved the MK3. I totalled my last stang and decided to make my switch and build a real car. Picked this MK3 up for $900. I will be needing some parts so if you know anyone parting one out I may be interested.

i just bought a 1988 toyota supra for the engine so i just put that tranny and engine in my car two because it was less work but i will sell you the one that was in my car for 150.00 it is in great working shape all gears work fine i live in cape cod massachusetts

Auto or manual?

I can;t see what your problem is... does it do its speridly when trying to drive forwards, or does it sometimes seem hard to put into reverse???

(if its a manual there is no reverse syncho, double declutch if it sticks and you'll be fine!)
