I own an Avensis 2.0 D4D, 2004 model, recently serviced (not by Toyota, but a trusted local garage).

Recently had a family trip to Cornwall, the car was fully laden, 2 adults, 2 kids, boot loaded, and 360l roof box full, car went fine considering the load, but I noticed that the car pulled better up hill when cruise control was on, generally set at 80mph, but when cruise control was not engaged, I had my foot to the floor to maintain 80 mph.

Does this sound right?

Any ideas?
