hey im new to the jap cars and have an 87 starlet and was hoping somone would tell me what all this ep and kp stuff is. i already asked does a glanza engine fit my car and what work needs to be done to make it fit. Also does anybody know were i could get performance parts far one. But the thing is i put an EFI engine in it already. Any help would be handy

the EP is the chassis code for the 1990-1995 Starlet (EP82) and 1996-1999 (EP91)

Yours is a KP70, pre 1990, a 4E-FE, 4E-FTE or possibly a 5E-FE engine will fit in, the 4E-FTE is from the GT Turbo/Glanza models and with a lot of decent mods you'll have a pretty nippy car (ive seen 70's with well over 200bhp)

to make it fit you'll need the wiring loom and all the internals etc. I havent done anything like this so its a subject i know little about

you'll also need new suspension and brakes as your talking about a lot of power there.
