Correct Engine Oil For Prius?

Hi all,

Looking at the service receipt on my Prius's last (40k) service, it says the type of oil that Inchcape Derby used was 10w/40 Magnatec. Is this ok? I thought the correct oil to use was 5w/30 semi/fully synthetic. Can someone please tell me definitively which is the best oil to use and why?

***update*** Technician at RRG Altrincham Toyota said correct oil for Prius is 10/40 semi or fully synthetic. Not 5/30.
