Hi All..

I have just purchased a Kenwood DNX5220BT for my Auris and connected in up but cant work out how to get the Steering wheel controls to work.

Have read through the manual and the way i'm interpreting it is that i have to get the kenwood steering control accessory! is this correct?

Also, when i purchased it, i enquired about the ipod lead ip200 and was told by the fella in the shop that you can now just connect the ipod through USB. I've tried but no success - do i definitely need the ip200 lead

Any help appreciated

Hello Floppy!

Yes, you do need an adapter for the steering wheel controls to work. The model is: CAWTY1290

About your iPod... There is an USB slot, but you'll need the cable, otherwise

it won't work! The one you mentioned is for audio only, there's also version supporting

video signal too (if you have iPod with video). Model is: KCAiP300V

Good luck and please read this topic for more information...

Best regards, Alex
