Hi everyone Im new to the forum so please bear with me I have purchased a townace auto diesel and am having overheating problems it is fitted with an alarm that keeps coming on when engine overheats anyone have any ideas why it keeps overheating coolant levels seem ok any help would be greatly appreciated

I think I can help you may not be aware but most Townaces suffer with an overheating problem and eventually you end up with a cracked head gasket..which is very expensive to fix..we bought one and had the same problem took it to a non toyota dealer to fix but it happened again...so this time we went to a local Toyota dealer and had the whole head gasket unit rep[laced and the radiator which costs

thousands of pounds.....it was done in 2006 and has not overheated since....had I read the forums before I bought one I wouldnt have bothered!! my advice do not ignore this problem as it gets worse and the ace will eventually break down.....sorry this is probably not what you want to hear!!
