1999 Camry Intermittent Power Steering Failure

Hello,

My wife said last night that her power steering took considerable effort to turn (it was one direction, to the right I think). It was a cool fall evening (in the 50's, fahrenheit) with rain and happened as she was driving a short distance to work. It happened on the way to work, but not on the way back home.

It is a 1999 Camry SE with around 87000 miles on it.

To my knowledge, no warning lights came up.

Any thoughts what to consider? Any thoughts where to take it for a timely diagnosis and repair?
