Mrs 1999 - Want To Buy A Hardtop For It.

Hi

First post, so apologies if this has already been asked.

Just bought a Jap Import 1999 Toyota MRS 1.8

It has soft top but would like to buy a Hardtop for the winter. Anybody know if firstly its possible and secondly where I could get one.

I'm living in Ireland.

You can defo get them as my friend had one, they come colour coded but are expensive new. eBay is your best bet!

You will need a fitting kit as well as the hard top so be prepared to pay around £600 over here

It's not really an item that travels well without being solidly packed usually in a heavy duty crate to avoid damage, this makes it very expensive to send, the best/cheapest option would be to collect as it isn't a massive job to fit.

I have had my Roadster for six years and never wanted or needed a hard top and it is used all year round ;)

My friend hated the look of the soft top when the roof was up so opted for the hard top, it does change the look of the car tho.

I'm phonig around a few toyota dealers in my area so hopefully one will turn up.

Tried eBay but couldn't find mrs hardtops ata ll..probably just doing something wrong..

item number 150309312393 seller states £450 for a buy it now, prefers collection.. but even with your costs in getting there it wouls still be a good price.
