i have a 05 rav4 when i drive at around 40 mph it starts to serge sometimes u can excelarate through it other times the management light comes on and it puts the car in sleep mode .I have had the air mass meter replaced ,but this is a intermitant fault .anyone with any ideas.

Have you got access to a fault reader and post any error codes?

Same think happens to mine - error code should be P1251
