HI I HAVE A RAV4 AUTO WICH IS HAVING A FEW PROBS WITH THE AUTO

BOX, ITS NOT GOING IN FIRST GEAR AND IS JUMPING AND BUMPING IN AND

OUT OF GEAR HAS ANY ONE HAD THE SAME SORT OF PROBS .

I believe somebody recently had the same problem. The wires were shorting out from the speed sensor somewhere on top of the gearbox. Just look down at the gearbox and the sensor should be toward the back near the drive shafts. If you ease the wires off the gearbox and see if that cures it then make a proper job afterwards.
