Ipod Fm Transmitter

Hi,

I am planning to go on holiday with my Avensis Tourer next week across France and have thought about getting the Belkin Tunebase FM2.

Has anyone used one or similar? I tried a cheaper version on my Saab 95 and it was dreadfull, something to do with the special glass that was fitted. The radio could nto pick up the signal.

Any comments appreciated.

yes got one myself, its not bad, got to re tune it now and then ,and the sound seems to be quite low compared to listening the radio or a CD

I use my TomTom Go 520 as it has a FM transmitter. Ive got a iPod cable and it works great can change the tracks by using the TomTom! I don't use it as much as CDs as most of my tracks are on CDs which are in the CD changer.

My Avensis has a cd player that will play wma and mp3 files - if yours has the same it may be worth you considering converting a pile of albums to wma ans dropping these onto a cd. I currently have 36 albums on one cd and 38 on another. Even though they are highly compressed they are of perfectly acceptable quality.
