you get horror stories about any car tbh, just some are crapper than others, and because the industry i find myself working in is suffering with the recession I am buying within my budget, yeah its not the best car out there, but its alright insurnace, a decent spec'd car, yeah there are a few faults with it but its fun to drive and i could do alot worse, cheers for the info on where to go when mine goes !Removed! up :P

yeah its a personal choice, some people get Baz tattoos, some people get Gaz tattoo's that look like Baz according to their mates, some people are opinionated, some follow the crowd, some even might be individuals.

I chose the clio because my mate used to have a mark 1 and i enjoyed being in it, the break light in the boot door is cool, its a querky car. I had a look everywhere and the nearest toyota was 80 mile away, which is a bit of a problem when you are having to walk everywhere.

Toyota was the first car i searched for, but again, like the mondeo there was none available.

Yeah the clio might have its foibles, a few issues here and there but at the end of the day I'll be the one driving it and paying for her. I like the styling, ok so its french but its about comprimises.

the sunroof doesn't leak, the car starts first time and drives beautifully.

I've made my choice and paid my money, I've spoke to people who have had them, i've asked a few mates who are into their cars so i know what i'm getting myself into and I think i have done well for the quality of the car on my budget.

and it was either this or a convertable Ford escort which the roof didn't shut properly :P
