Hello :)

recently (over last 3 wks) it feels as though i have something like the brakes sticking whilst driving giving it a sort of tugging feeling. prior to this the drive was always smooth and very easy to accelerate almost without noticing the speed increase.. now, i get to 70 in 6th gear and it feels a struggle. I am a girl, I have no mechanical knowledge.. however, it doesnt FEEL like its an engine prob more a front wheel brake (or related) problem. My mechanic had a look at it, but could not see anything obviously wrong.. he did however discover the rear brakes needed replacing, which he did.. but, the problem is still there!

Any help/ideas will be gratefully received :) thank you in advance.
