Thanks everyone, must say Im well impressed so far, the fuel economy is prety good for a 1.8.

Have to agree with Bothwell Buyer on the height inside the Celica VVTI, I am 5'6 and my head is a few inches away from the roof, being small somtimes has its advantages lol.

I have been driving around in a MK1 Mazda mx5 for the last 3 years, (great little cars) along with a Toyota Corrolla, like most people, Im finding it hard to run two cars in the current climate.

With the Celica I have kind of killed two birds with one stone, got the sporty looks and feel, japanese build quality,reliability with the two seats in the back for the kids.

I have heard the VVTI engines can consume large amounts of oil, any truth in this? its a 2000 reg
