New Speakers

I'm off out today to my local car audio centre, I'm thinking of changing my front and rear Speakers, anyone got any recommendations???

I'v a read a few posts on here about how the sound system aint up to much in the t sport but I was pleasently suprissed with it.

It stays clear and bassy with no distorion/crackling at high volumes unlike allot of other standard stereos in some cars.

Im not saying it couldn't be improved, just that it's not bad for a standard system.

I would disagree with the above...In my experience there isn't a worse standard factory audio setup than you get in the corolla, my old yaris had a better factory system, the Speakers and head unit are there to serve one purpose and one only: to fill holes in the dash and doors!

As for Speakers I'd recommend Pioneer or Alpine in the average persons budget, if you're willing to go beyond then talk to me :D

I only need to change the rears as one of them has gone all crackly at higher volumes, so I went for one of there lower priced speaker sets £20

I took a mate who's into car audio stuff and he reckons there a good speaker for the price.

Indeed, I have not. Only have experience of japanese or german cars...

Lucky you... well take it from me the standard system in the t sport isn't bad compared to others!

Anyone know how to get to the rear Speakers on a 3 door,

The sound system isn't great on a t sport but it did get better when I changed the head unit
