Hi - I taxi a 52 plate avensis D4d and have 236,000 on the clock.I have replaced the clutch twice and the starter motor twice plus the usual wheel bearings etc, apart from that nothing major. It regularly gets 54 mpg but since I replaced the SCV valves last week ,this has dropped to 51 mpg.I was told that the ECU needs to be reprogrammed for new SCV's..Anybody know?

Hi Charlie , a big welcome to you.

This is going to cause some confusion as we have a Charlie Farlie who posts on the RAV4 section.

We shall just have to pay attention
