Ford GT40.

Failing that, I'd settle for the new ford GT (GT40 clone?).

I have written on this forum before and very rudely did not introduce myself!

I am a new bronze member, because I am an ex-pat (English) now living in a beautiful part of southern Spain and cannot enjoy the benefits of Gold membership.

So HI! everybody.

I have a 2004 RAV 4 automatic 3 door in metallic green. Had to wait 6 weeks for it.

Having previously owned many different cars, including a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, 350c.i. Chevrolet Camaro, Suzuki Cappuccino (fearsome acceleration!) and even a 944 Porsche.

I can honestly say, having only covered 2,500km., that my RAV 4 is one of the nicest vehicles I have ever driven.

SO. While in the past, the de Tomaso Pantera made me drool, for practical as well as enjoyment reasons, the RAV 4 has it for me!

Sorry this has been so long winded.

Cheers, ravster.

Oohhhhhhh.....Austin 1100. My dad used to have one of those :(

For me though, probably the TR6 or the subtle understated looks of the Metro 6R4

My mum had 2  . No wonder I turned out like I did :blink::help: . Getting driven around in them in the late 80's as a school/college lad was beyond the bounds of human cruelty.

I see that my favourite 2 yanks were featured on TG last night. Quality.

ps. Vanishing point NOT Bullitt

I would have to own the original Aston Martin V8 Vantage in british racing green.

hmmm, lets see,

Back when I was younger, it was always the 911 turbo, and I still love them today (as long as they are air cooled)...

But from about 16, I was at college 1/2 mile from the TVR factory... and fell in love with....

I'd still have one (a 500) today... but it has been replaced by...

All time favorite car has to be the Porsche 356 :thumbsup:

At the moment I do love the Gallardo

lm2004gallardo02.jpg

Just found out that the Gallardo (might be Murcialago) was to be the VW yes VW badged W12 powered supercar. Obviously VW decided against it and gave the plans to their sister co. Audi. Just a piece of useless did you know!

Yeah you are right but there will have been 5 or 6 years of developemnt since then. The Lambo Badge certainly has more Kudos. It also allows the VAG Group to add about 40 grand to the asking price!

Forgot this little V8 byoooty - This is an FF not an Interceptor and was the first production car in Britain to use permanent 4WD, 4WS, PAS and Aircon. All this in 1966!!! :o
