Toyota Landcruiser Prado 120

Hello all. I am in the process of making some changes to my 120 series LC Prado. its a 2004 model and due to the heat from the sun, the dash has cracked in multiple areas. So without my consent, the driver went ahead and filled some of the cracks with a brown glue (elfy). Now it looks ever more horrid.

Repairing the dash is useless. Buying a new one is too expensive. So im gonna go ahead and cover it in a beige vinyl sheet. I need some help with how to remove some parts from the dash.

1) The red parts i have managed to remove with the help of searching online

2) The blue parts are the ones i couldnt find any info regarding so i need some help here.

This is a reference picture. Its dark outside here and i cant put up a proper picture right now.

One final thing. The panel under the steering column needs to be removed in order to get the instrument cluster out.... this is what i read somewhere. If that is true, some help regarding that would help too.

Cheers
