Corolla Verso D4D Head Gasket Help :-(

Hi, am new to the forum but we need some advise and help please. We bought (financed) a 2008 corolla verso 2.2 d4d last year. No problems until a recently when it started to loose coolant. Long story cut short.... It's the head gasket. Having done some research it seemed Toyota had extended their complimentary "warranty" for this as its a world wide common fault with the engine. However. My car is now 6 weeks over the yearly cut off!!!

So my questions is... Has anyone had any luck with getting their head gasket/engine done under this scheme and was it within their time scale or were they flexible?

The goodwill covered cars up to 7 years old or 111,846 miles, whichever occurred first. An indeterminate number of owners have had their cars repaired under this goodwill, as you will see if you trawl through the above thread. As far as I'm aware the limitations to the goodwill are fixed.
