Hiya,

So for a while now i have had one problem that has been driving me mad. My internal light does NOT turn on when i open the door, any door. The open door light comes on when the door opens but light does nothing. I think i must have accidentally blown a fuse a while back, changing the bulb.

Anyways, not being able to identify any fus responsible for that annoying thing i started forgetting about it until last weekend. I noticed that the two lights around the key fob socket are not lit and that the mirror and light adjusting bits are not illuminated, no matter whether the driving light are on or off. I swear these used to be lit? Or am I wrong? I suspect now that this has something to do with that dome light.... Can anyone confirm this or maybe someone has a solution? I'm about to go crazy becuse of that yet again...

Cheers

Noone came across that? Someone suggested some module behind the fusebox in the glove compartment area. I even bought a second hand fusebox, thinking I could replace it, but can't really get enough access to disconnect all wires... Seems like a popular problem with older Corollas and Avensis models, clearly easily rectified there. Quite a popular problem with CV as well, but haven't across the trick to fix in, and tried searching in three languages all over Google....
