If I were to get one of these:

How would I unlock the boot, because there's no hole for the bootlock barrel.

Is there a release catch in the cockpit?

Ta.

you have to use the lever on the floor in the cabin.

I've got a ribbed one at home if ya want something different ..

Aftermarket rear panels for the rev1/2 arnt fixed in so all you do is lift it up and you have access to the lock.
It just slides in a groove behind the lights.
I'm in the process of making one with MR2 in raised letters in the middle.

My rear panel has raised letters... I've seen many with nothing os simply a sticker on them. Curious as to why my one has raised letters ?? Did someone do this when they originally had it on their car? Or is it norm ??
