Air Conditioning Servicing on 2 year old vehicle

Crikey. Even when I was in tech sales I only did about 25000 miles a year and I was out most days. -

Be aware these type of suction pad will fall off now and then. I used 3m on my dash cams and it never comes off until I take it with me to install in another car. -
I was told multiple times from different sources its just how its designed. Im just trying to avoid it.. and it does not bother me that much anymore (since its not an real issue).. means.. I go to D when ICE not started yet in the morning OR wait a minute before going to D, usually it helps. I was at the dealership and they tried other cars and it did too.

I am assuming this just sits and slots in the centre part where the cigarette power point is ? Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! £72.79 47%OFF | 15W Car Wireless Charging for Toyota Yaris Cross XP210 2020~2024 Phone Fast Charger Charging Tray Plate Panel Accessories iPhone https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJcza7h

I like it too. It gives more load space or a level floor. He’s a journalist at the end of the day.

Hah! If only! I barely had my car for a week and it so dirty already! ( tanks to some single track roads I can't avoid!) 😂

I've been trying to keep track of fuel economy since I've had the PHEV. I know how many litres of E5/E10 are going in, and my employers charging points use an app so I can monitor the cost/kWh usage via that, but when using the granny charger from home I've no real way to monitor what's going in. Just wondered what others were doing, if anyone is that bothered with monitoring everything. I was thinking (hoping) that possibly the 30% to 100% readings on the app are giving the best chance at a linear/predictable metering of the amount of power used to charge on a given session. The most charge I can put in so far (via works metering) has been consistently 14.1 kWh. Is that what others are getting? I previously assumed 70% of an 18.1kWh battery would be 12.7kWh, so my maths isn't working out as expected. So say, going from 30% to 65% via the granny charger at home is half of the available charge, so approx 7kWh. Factor in my current tariff (I'm sat on a variable EON one atm, say 25p/kWh) that gives me 7*0.25=£1.75 for a 35% charge? Or is the % value not usable for this? I can tell the EV miles available changes with the wind - seems to drop like a brick sometimes, and other times stays the same for a few miles. Would appreciate any knowledge you guys can share on the above.

Red, white and black are correct Brown is just a cable shield iirc is just a ground, pin 5 at the radio did you nick the wires for testing ? If not you may have a touch of the green crusties in the wires (camera plug) ps. oem cameras are 6v

The moral of the story seems to be 'don't wash your car more than necessary'. That's my strategy. I have it washed once a year..when it gets serviced 😁

Thanks. So... first question is... will this even work? If my existing radio uses a 20pin plug and the new one uses a 28pin connector, can I get an adaptor. (I did call Toyota before buying and they said it was a simple swap!) Also, do you know where I can get the cable for 'C and D connect to X (missing cable)'? Many Thanks

Toyota will give me a new multimedia unit. I often get black screens, let's say 2 times on a 30 mile trip on average. Happens when the navigation is on, phone connected or not, original nav from the MM or waze via phone, ... When any navigation is on, the navigation doesn't resume after restart. When navigation is not ok and f.e. radio is on, radio doesn't turn off at any time during restart. Will see what happens with the new device.

To me it sounds like you are describing a love relationship. Enjoy the time together. In my own theory, relations with women are satisfactory for three weeks and from then on it only goes down hill. I am sure the aygo can do better than that and will still get you uphill after months and years to come. Good luck to you !

it depends if you want to use the sat nav (module bolted to the bottom) what you have is a Toyota Touch and go A and B go to A and B the gray plug between B and C is USB Y is for the rear camera C and D connect to X (missing cable) your old radio uses a 20-pin connector the touch uses a 28-pin connector

Hi All, I have the same problem as above in this thread where my 3 button 86140-YV020 Touchscreen Headunit in my C1 MK2 does not switch to the Stock reverse camera and does nothing when selecting reverse. I've checked in the hidden menu and the touchscreen does change to ON when selecting reverse. The reverse light also comes On. I've also bought another 2nd hand Stock reverse camera but still have the same issue. I then decided to buzz out check all the wiring front to back. There's 4 wires for the camera. Red Black White Orange HeadUnit to Footwell Red ok Black ok White ok Orange ok Footwell to Rear camera connector Red ok Black ok White ok Orange not connected ...in fact the wire in the rear camera connector is Brown ?? Does anyone know why or even where it goes ? I thought it was supposed to be direct to the HeadUnit front to back ? I also tried to bypass these orange / brown wires with a direct new wire but made no difference. Any help is most appreciated.

Unfortunately not today and the weather is awful anyway Hopefully within the next week I’ll be able to get to my dealer Don’t worry I always look respectable 😊

Will have a go. Hopefully, I've found a second-hand one for £90. Toyota want £230.

Thanks for the reply Tony and yes I’m definitely going to get the leak fixed by the original mechanic but wanted a second opinion just in case the original mechanic is fobbing me off . The mechanic I have given the car to now is a close friend of mine in which I’ve asked him to only check what’s been done I.e. I asked the original mechanic to replace transmission fluid as it had been leaking for a couple of days and to check if seal has actually been replaced and what could be the cause of the leak . Nothing more .

Ooh, I stand corrected. I need to get into the habit when reading the posts in this section, when I see Yaris, it means Yaris and when I see Yaris Cross, it means Yaris Cross, I suppose I could also look at people's profile before replying. I still think these two vehicles should be separated, but I do understand the points raised when this came up before. I just personally think that all Cross models should be separate, now that they are popping up everywhere, but hey, I'm in the minority.

In a word, yes.
