Help - Bumper Removal!

I was hoping someone could help me with this... we are trying to get the rear bumper off of our '04 Avensis! We know where all of the fixings are but I am having a problem with the four at the top that are accessed inside the boot. They are inside the metal frame (which is difficult enough) and the bolts also have a spike that is several inches long coming out of them... HELP! Am i going to have to take the car to toyota for paid assistance or does anyone know of a way around this that i can manage myself :D Grateful for any help or advice :-)

Hi

I have not seen the fixings, but if these are hex head bolts, you can buy extended sockets from most tool merchants (Halfords etc).

They are not that expensive and definitely cheaper than visiting your main dealer.
