Changing Car Kit (ck-7w To Iphone/tomtom)

Hi,

I have a 2007 Avensis Colour Colection D4-D estate. When it was new I had a Nokia CK-7W installed by a professional (?!?) fitter.

Now I am thinking of removing this and getting the TomTom iPhone kit.

First question is removing the CK-7W, how to get to the back of the glove box where it is?

Second how to remove the long pointless phone holder held behind the trim on the left side of the radio?

Thirdly wondering if anyone's put one of these in a comparable model Avensis yet? Is their an AUX line in the back of the standard stereo to use the iPod features?

Cheers,

Lee.

I can see this is an old thread. However, for anyone trying to do the same thing - Toyota tech doc site. Search AIM and choose your car and the hands free kit

beware some car kits do not work with the iPhone. firstly the iPhone must have version 3.2 or above software on to work with any of them. All parrot kits will work with the iPhone with above software and with parrot you can download and install the latest firmware as well. i know i have just been down this road with my 'older' avensis and my new iphone

hope this will help some people
