Need A New Clutch Fitted

Hi guys, i have a 2000 vvti and have had it for 1yr only 80k on the clock, the clutch has gone, this is the first problem i have had with this car can i get this fixed at any garage or do i need to go to a dealership ? Does anybody no how much this is likely to set me back as cant stand driving the wifes car.

Any competent mechanic should manage to carry it out. You could either let them supply the parts or get them yourself. The quickest option is for them to fit it, but it would be more expensive.

As to price, it depends if they have carried it out before on the Avensis. I would think it would be £100+ for labour + the clutch etc. The clutch would be between £50 - £150 depending on manufacturer.

Ask the Parts-King for a price on it via personal message. He would also advise you better about costs on labour as well
