2nd Gen Centre Diff

Hi All

Anybody know if it is possable to fit a centre diff to a 2nd surf so i can run 4wd on dry roads and dont have to worry drive train wind up . i know i can't fit the transfer box from the 3gen but is there any other hilux/surf ect parts that can be retro fitted ?

Why ?, it uses more fuel wears the tyres quicker and puts more strain on the front CV's.

indeed, that's why i don't like the rav 4 4.2 model permanent 4x4 drive train... it eats your tires and steers awful
