Lights Off Ebay

Had my H7 xenon Blue lights back today for the main beam that I ordered off eBay.

What a joke how can these people get away with selling these, they are not even the same ones as described on the advert.

The blue colour on both the bulbs is scratched and both of the bulbs are wonky on top off the silver bit they sit on.

Should I send them back or put them in anyway will the beam be O.K. if the bulbs are on the wonk.

it will probably be ok. But you could still send them back and get your money back. and order a better set.

Sens them back PDQ - firstly they are not fit for purpose due to poor finish and poor fitting. Ill fitting bulbs will fail fairly quickly.

Better still you may be able to sue them under the trade descriptions act as xenon lighting is in fact based on the discharge principle.:)

I bet you any money they are not "E" marked, if they are not, then they are illegal to use on UK roads, send them back!!!

There is no "E" mark on the package, the ones shown on eBay are the same as ones I purchased locally this is why I ordered them the only difference on eBay was they were cheaper.

The ones I received are badged up "boyz toys" and look like I said rubbish quality are these one E rated.

Best sent back and not used, they are not E marked, they are not legal

i would get a named brand if you can. Philips or OSRAM both make blue bulbs, they are just not as bright or blue(white) as the illegal ones.
