Hid Kit Owners, Did You Have Them Set To Auto Still?

Hi all, was wondering if this is ok. Just that I was wondering if this will affect the HID bulbs due to the quick charge and not allowing the power to 'slowly' go to the ballast etc.?? Just my concern and I am sure I have read it somewhere saying that HID should not be on Auto. Just wanted to know please via people who actually have the kit on. regards
