Series 10 soft close door latch

I believe the soft close latches fail as water gets into the electric motors. I bought a few motors & replaced a failed one in the primary latch, but cant get to the soft close latch as its behind a crash bar.

I am loath to spend hours removing it & then possibly not fixing it if it is not the motor, as I do not have anywhere safe to park it, if the door is open all night.

So does anyone know what the near side sliding door soft close mechanism is, a part number or which other cars its is fitted to?

It is for a pre-facelift series 10 Alphard.

Maybe the same as my MkII 2003 Estima.?...thankfully mine work just fine.

Put your frame number into Megazip and see if you can identify the part and its number.
