Just found these on eBay, so I placed an order.

I know how hard it is to find them I have spent hours trying to and I know some people out there had the likwidart ones as there were none about.

Genuine ones are really hard to find.... as Toyota never made them ;)

The only Genuine VVTL-i emblem Toyota ever made was a 2D sticker on the Australian Sportivo's

I must admit i've never seen one.

There is a celica 190 in the uni car park which is badged "VVTI_190" an early one i think. no mention of the magic L.

I have seen both types on celicas as you say the VVTi_190 and the VVTL-i.

Maybe they have found one of these badges, who knows.

Those VVTL-i badges are ones that somebody made up in America based on the Toyot VVTi Badge.

A few people have them over here, but Toyota definately didn't ever make them.

Before we had the Likwidart ones made a while back i spoke with Toyota GB and Toyota Australia who confirmed this

Thanks for that.

Nevermind I still rather them than the likwidart ones anyway.

At least they look as if they could have been made for the car not like the likwidart ones.

Each to their own ;)

The Likwidart ones will last much longer than the plastic ones tho :P  ;)

must agree, i kinda prefer the authentic looking ones. not a fan of the likwidart stickers. each to their own.

and whos to say the likwidart ones will last longer? have you done substantial quality assurance testing gaz? :P

Picture?? :huh::lol:

The reason i opted for the Likwidart ones was because i planned on putting them under the indicators... wanted something streamlined rather than the squared authentic looking ones.

Front or back of the car however, those will look good

Just thought I would add that my 2001 celica had vvti_190 badge, no 'L' in it :)

Yeah have seen them, but seem both types on Celicas so am assuming that someone might have had one like mine.
