Brake Problem 2004 T3

I have a Corolla T3 VVTI 2004

My problem is this, when I brake normally there is no problem but when I have to brake suddenly or harder, for any reason, I get a juddering accompanied with an alarming grinding sound, seemingly coming from the front offside wheel.

This seems to happen mainly when the temperature is very cold, near to or below freezing. Visual inspection reveals nothing.

Has anyone experienced this ? If so, do you know what the cause and solution is.?

Sounds like the ABS kicking in which is fine, if you want additional clarification why not head to Kwik Fit or similiar and ask for a "Free" safety check :)

If the feeling makes you want to cry and leaves your foot feeling all weird, its ABS. lol

Recomendations;-

1:- What cab said above just in case.

2:- Slow down in the cold/freezing weather. Ice = slippy ;)

dont worry about it i get the same randomlly when i brake i was quite confused at first but i guessed it was the abs
