Corolla Verso Dvd System - Some Questions!

Hi all,

am picking up a 2007 t-spirit tomorrow, which has the under-seat dvd system. I've got young children, who probably won't/can't wear the headphones, and wanted to play the audio via the Speakers. I've seen some posts around this, however i would call myself a complete novice at anything around wiring etc, so does anyone have any advice on how to get around this for a complete numpty?

Also, failing that, is there an after-sales ICE that i could replace it with in the verso, or am i limited by the moulded console?
