Two Problems. Please Advise

On my Aygo I have two problems.

1) front indicator light has a bad connection. When it first stopped working I changed the bulb but it made no difference. I then moved the wire about under the bonnet and it started working again

2) power steering is intermittent, it works for a while then stops working (I'm 100% sure it isn't working and its not the tyres)

Right now both the front indicator and power is steering is working, but wasn't earlier today.

Please advise. Any solutions?

How old is the car? Does it have warranty? if so would be worth having it looked at.

If jiggling the wire managed to get it working it could be a bad link at either the bulb end or the fuse end. You looked to see if these are secure and not damaged or cracked?

The power steering could be a few things, a faulty power steering motor, a slipping belt, faulty connections so it isn't getting power.... a close relative who sadly bought a C1 not an Aygo had an intermittent issue with power steering and it turned out the motor wasn't getting power.

If younger than three years it's a warranty job - why fiddle and potentially make things worse? If it's older an auto electrician will find the problem very quickly - Bosch Service Centres are highly regarded.
