Ipod Connection

Hi

Anyone have any info on how to install an ipod link to the standard stereo system, dont really want to change it as mine has inbuilt satnav, garage have said thats its not possible but i find this hard to believe

Any helpers?????

Did that couple of years ago. Bit basic but works for me. Unit fitted into the back of the Toyota radio and fools it into thinking that it is a multi disc changer.

I can control the Ipod from the head unit controls.

6-2 on the screen is the 6th album 2nd track on my playlist (which happens to be Meatloaf bat out of Hell.)

Don't remember the make as I bought it 2nd.

What kit do i need for this? Is it possible to remove the Ipod after it has been connected? or does it have to remain connected?

That looks like the one I've got but mine is an older version. Mine was £40. Don't think I'd pay £80. Get a top FM transmitter for your Ipod for less than that.
