Supra Door Light Staying On

hi everybody,

i have a 1991 toyota supra 1g-gteu and today the door light tay on even though everything is closed. iv tried pressing in the rubber part the door shuts onto to turn the light off but still not having any luck.. would appreciate any ideas to try.

I know it sounds stupid but have you checked the boot is closed?

Or that the interior light is switched off!?

Usually they fail "off"
