Upsize From 15"steel To 18"alloy, Problem?

As title... Going to upsize my original 15" steel wheel to 18" alloy, I guess they should enuup roughly the same weight with tyres on (the 18" alloy is ~8-9kg). Is this going to be a problem? What change shall in driving experience should I expect to notice? (i.e. better handling, sharper cornering?)
