Has anybody done anthing with their snorkel intake pipe onther that fitting an induction kit?

I have removed all the intake pipework to the air box, fitted a 63mm ally intake into the airbox and half a meter of 63mm neoprene ducting to take air from just below the headlight.

Sounds alot healthier, made a difference to the performance particularly below lift and incresed my fuel economy.

Total cost less than £40!

where is the best place to get a good air flow to the filter? im changing the box filter to a k&n typhoon on a rolla compressor
