The irrepressible Katie Price has announced her intentions to release a single next month.

Writing on Twitter last night, the multi-talented former glamour model said, "I can at last reveal my first solo single is out monday 12 july i love the tune an hope you guys do to (sic) xxx."

Of course, Katie won't be the first famous person to have a crack at a pop career. The bargain basements of the nation are testament to that...
