My Precious (with Pics)

Hey guys, been wanting to do this for a while now… so here it is

My precious (Small P) – it was love at first sight when I brought her, sigh…

The times we have spent together… had a few ex’s complaining me loving my car more than I love them… guess that’s why they left :P hehehe I often wonder why I ended up as a chemist when I should’ve been a mechanic sigh…

Currently:

Its pretty stock/clean with some minor mods

Full sports exhaust fitted (sounds very very nice)

15” alloys (will do 17” when I can afford them)

Swapped to Philips Diamond Vision blubs (can’t see it now, but at night they’re a very nice blue)

Sony head unit with modded Speakers in the back (don’t know brand was there when I brought her)

Red leather gear shifter knob…

To come:

Interior neons (red) fitted in both floor wells and under both seats – with missle switch on dash

Blue/white washer leds

Metal hatchet pattern floor matts

Metallic foot pedal and rest

Better head unit and Speakers

Red trim bucket seats

So there u have it, will add more pics when I do more work on her

And if you have suggestions please share with me!

Thanks so much!

steering wheel cover eh?

you be surprised at how nice it feels in your hands despite the appearance...

but i was saving up for a momo wheel anyways... so yeah dont worry haha

with red and black trim

the P is for probationary driver... here in australia you cant drive legally until you are 18

then have to start on P plates for 3 years before getting a full license, then no more P on windscreen....

ps... i would've been off my Ps a year ago... but a small misunderstanding with the police.... had extended my probationary period by 1.5 years haha :crybaby:

nah its def a paseo, didn't rebadge it haha

i think it was imported cos 90% of the writing in the engine bay are written in japanese (lucky i can read that hahaha)

the engine bay is a bit dirty and i haven't had good chance of cleaning it up yet (soon i promise), but its a stocky 5E-FE that runs me about 13.5~15km/litre of petrol

very very economical indeed!

got a nice little kick in it should i be lucky enough to be at the lights with other smaller cars

but i think the best thing about seos imho would be on the bends

nothing better than heelntoe down to 2nd gear from 80~90km/hr and do a sharp downhill turn flooring it - oh, and stiffer suspension helps a bit..... hehe

anyone else with good experience with seos on the road?

:lol::thumbsup::lol:

hey, thanks for the supportive comments!!

she looks great doesn't she?

gets a wash once a week, twice if rained or seems dirty

wax/polish once per month or two

full cut and meguires product range (expensive sigh...) once per year

i know i am a bit obessed.. but hey, its a beautiful car!

as for the jap, juss learnt it from school.. oh and lived there for a while, visited both the honda and toyota factories while i was there... was sooo damn amazine! gotta see it to believe it, fully automated and so damn clean you can eat off the floors! and that was like 6 years ago!

had a work mate who owns a jap imported 300zx (TT) and i translated much of the car to him haha

in return he took me for a ride of me life.... goddamn 0~100km/hr in like 5sec.. no joke

now only if we could do that in our seos too... life would be great aint it?

My uncle who lives out there used to say P was for Pest, but then he never was very funny... :arrgg-matey: :P

yeah haha P-platers are known not for their good driving...

you see down here

the learners, or the L-platers, drive very very very slowly becuase they always have someone else sitting there watching over their driving

and the ppl on full license, or no-platers drive like your average joe

but the P platers... we have our own insurance bracket

"ok for a full comprehensive cover per year for your car Mr. A, will be 700.... WHAT you are a P plater? Scrap that, it will be 2,500 per year thanks"

ppl usually steer clear of the P platers cos we tend to tail gate on every occasion, thinking we can make other ppl move out of our way, what else we do? we think that if we go fast enough, those little speed camera boxes wont be able to take a photo of us, of course i am stereo typing here

i would never do any of those thing :D

however, the worst drivers we have here in melb, australia (and everyone i have met agrees on this)

will be 18~30+, asian females, especially those studying here from o/s with rich parents to buy them riced up imports that they dont know how to drive

not that i have anything against cute lil asain girls (my gf is one :) - just that they can't drive rofl... well most of them anyways

ok ok.. i think i better go sleep before i crap on about nothing again

cyas
