ive recently bought a tte exhaust for my corolla diesel, its just to add to the look,

its originally for a 1.4/1.6, everything i exactly as i need it, however the flange is to small on the end of it so it wont bolt onto original holes and fit over the gap as the pipe is also to small as i try to connect it to the original pipe,

i dnt want to cut off and welp my old pipe to it, as when i sell the car or anythign liek that i wish to put the old exhaust bck on, is there any suggestion to hwo i can get around it, so i can jst bolt on the tte exhaust?

ive tried to look for an diesel exhaust so i can cut of the end and weld it onto the tte exhaust but i cant find any, is there any other suggestions or anything like that

This about mine by any chance? ;) It has the TS flange welded on atm..if anyone would like to clarify that the TS and Diesel are the same? And that it should be a direct bolt on for his diesel?

The part I'm after is the odd 2 part donut style clap that holds the last part of the exhaust pipe tips to the rear silencer box? It looks like 2 clamps side by side, has bolts holding the 2 halves together and a metal ring/flange that sits in the middle.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about please help. I'm currently driving with just one exhaust pipe on the car (with no adverse effects it seems) but I'm desperate to put the other pipe back on (the old

AadamJ if you have tried all avenues then you could possibly make/have machined an adapter piece? it'll cost a fair bit but i suppose the job will be done properly, are you mechanically minded?

success people, ive sorted it went down to big city tyres in nottingham, and they charged me 60 quid, and gave me another flange, so my old backbox is still perfect to stick back on if i sell the car
