Clutch For 98 Rav 4 3Dr

Hi all,

I've been offered a Rav4 for free... yeap, I did say free!

That said, I'm told it will need a new clutch very shortly, along with a new cam belt. I've tried obtaining some prices online but so far I've failed. I do have a contact who maybe able to give me some idea of cost inc labour, but figured it'd be no bad thing to ask the users on this forum.

It's a 98 model, 3dr 2.0. Other than that, I'm not sure on it's spec. Any help you can offer would be grately appreciated. I think overall she's a good runner, and in very good condition with a long MOT etc, so I'm keen to find out whats what etc.

hello mate. cambelt book time approx 2hrs labour depending on what garage you use. toyota approx 90£ph clutch is a different story. book time approx 8.5 hrs @ toyota prices its alot. its also a pig to do i know i.ve done a few. clutch kit about £200 cambelt kit about £50. make sure you get the modified spring from toyota for the adjuster pully or the belt will jump off. good luck
