Is Avensis Stereo Coded?

Hi guys,

I've got an 05 Avensis estate diesel and decided to fit a cruise stalk, but i'm a little concerned that

if I disconnect the Battery, I will need a code for the stereo.

I've had the car from new and can't find any codes in any of the handbooks.

Anyone know if this is the case or not?

I don't know if your radio is coded or not, but if it is, it should be on the paperwork from the dealer.

Check the radio handbook to see if they say its coded, and if it is ask the toyota dealer to supply you with it, free of charge, as they should have done this in the first place.

No Toyota stereos are coded.
