Hi,

I have an 04 plate 1.8 Avensis and unfortunately we cannot get 2nd or 4th gear to stay in - The gearstick just jumps back out. The car drives fine in all the other gears and even in 2nd or 4th if you hold the lever in - It just wont stay engaged.

Anyone come across this before - any idea what may be at fault?
