Buying A 2001 Corolla Gs & Changing To Alloy Wheels

Hello,

I am looking at puchasing a Corolla GS 00-01, what advice would people have on things to look out for when buying as I am a bit of a newbie with cars.

The only modification I am looking to make to a Corolla is to put some alloy wheels on it, my first thought was would MR2 Roadster wheels fit ok.

If not, what Toyota alloys will fit that model Corolla a and how do I find out the specifications etc..

If anyone can put me down the right path I would be very grateful
